Bio-Calcium Liquid is a bone health formula which contains 350mg calcium in each soft capsule with 100IU Vitamin D to help calcium absorption. A diet deficient in calcium can lead to osteoporosis when dietary intake is inadequate. Maintain bone health.
Calcium has a structural role in bones and teeth. It is also essential for cellular structure, muscle contraction, nerve transmission, enzyme activation, and hormone function. Bone density increases in the first 30 years of life, reaching its peak at about the age of 30. Afterward, bone density declines, with the decline increasing more rapidly in women after menopause. This decline can lead to osteoporosis.
Vitamin D is essential for promoting the absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus and facilitating the normal calcification of the skeleton.
